ItÕs a constant source of amazement for me too É and a pleasure to keep functioning. IÕm hoping to make some updates to the NPDS modules this spring as well. Stay tuned to the NPDS mailing list for updates.

Paul is very busy with his current job at Violet, so he has little time for Newton development at the moment. He is not working on the DCL or Einstein projects either. ThatÕs why he made them open source.

YouÕre asking the wrong person whether you should toss out an old Mac. I never throw away any Macintosh machines ... ever. If I were you, I would hold onto the 7600 just in case. You can run the package installers and Newton development tools under Classic on a Mac mini, but remember that as of Leopard, Mac OS X does not support the Classic environment.
