Yes, it technically will work on an MP130, providing you have version 2.0 of the Newton OS and version 1.1 of the Newton Internet Enabler (NIE). A static IP address and an Ethernet card are also recommended. I have never actually witnessed NPDS running on an MP130, but you never know what is possible until you try it. As for locating a reasonably priced MP2100, you should look at the J & K Sales web site. They just recently posted a notice on the Newted Community message boards regarding original MessagePad 2100 units (not upgrades) that they have for sale. Several people from the NewtonTalk mailing list have ordered units from this company and seem to be positive about their experience.
