Re: Raissa RSS newsfeeds

I think Eckhart has already mentioned this on the Newton-Talk mailing list, but I'll repeat what he said here. Check out the NewsIsFree site. They collect headlines from over 2,200 sources from around the web and let you subscribe to them using RSS. Everything is categorized, so you can find Mac-specific and daily headline news feeds on these pages:
Top News Headlines
http://www.newsisfree.com/sources/bycat/?where=1
Mac News
http://www.newsisfree.com/sources/bycat/?where=73
Most RSS feeds are only headlines, sometimes with a bit of additional descriptive text. Due to the fact that Raissa only displays the most basic information available from the news feed, you can't click through to the more detailed information found on the source site. I know Eckhart is working on the ability to have Raissa hand off the URLs embedded in the news feeds to a browser such as Newt's Cape.
I hope this helps clear things up a bit.
